Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the dontsearch platform, including customers, service providers, businesses, suppliers, and any other person or entity using the platform. References to a “user” include each of the foregoing, unless the context clearly requires otherwise. Wording used in one gender is for convenience only and applies to all genders. Singular terms include the plural and vice versa, as applicable.

In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Hebrew version of this Privacy Policy and the English version, the Hebrew version shall prevail, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

The Company respects your privacy and undertakes to make its best efforts to protect it. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is, among other things, to explain the Company's practices regarding the privacy of platform users, and how the Company uses information provided to it by users or collected by it as part of providing the services and/or products. This Privacy Policy constitutes a binding and enforceable legal agreement between you and the Company; accordingly, please read it carefully.

Use of the dontsearch platform, as applicable, constitutes your express and unqualified consent to all provisions of this Privacy Policy, including consent to the Company's use of the personal and statistical information (as defined below) received and collected by it, and consent to the transfer of such information to third parties under the terms set out herein. This policy applies to all platform channels: the website, the Web application, the Company's applications (iOS and Android), the dontsearch bot, the WhatsApp flow, and additional communication channels. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform or the services and/or products offered on it.

Dontsearch will use personal information about users we have collected for the following purposes:

• To personalize your experience — we may use information individually or in aggregate to understand how our users use the services and resources on the platform.
• To improve, train, calibrate and adapt the platform's AI systems, including improving analysis quality, matching relevant providers, improving automated responses and reducing system errors.
• To provide and operate the service — including matching customers with service providers, and managing inquiries, service requests, messages and conversations between the parties.
• To improve customer support — your information helps us respond more effectively to your support requests.
• To process requests and transactions — we may use information you provide when creating a request or ordering a service, and provide relevant information about our other products and services. We do not share this information with third parties except as required to provide the service or where explicit permission has been given.
• To send operational service messages — messages relating to requests, inquiries, matches, service status and account security.
• To manage platform features — such as content, promotions and surveys, and to send information to users who consented to receive it on topics we believe may interest them.

If a user joins our mailing list, they will receive email / WhatsApp / SMS messages that may include Company news, updates and product- or service-related information. These are distinct from operational service messages. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time, using the instructions at the bottom of each message or by contacting us.

The dontsearch platform and the services and/or products offered on it are intended for adults over the age of 18. Information about a minor under the age of 18 may not be transferred to the Company without the consent of their parent or legal guardian, and a minor under the age of 18 may not perform any legal action on the platform, including ordering services, without such consent.

This policy refers to two types of information. “Personal information” is data that may, alone or in combination, be used to identify a person, including first and last name, address, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, age, and any other personal detail you provide when using the services. Personal information is stored in the Company's secured database with restricted access.

In addition, as part of your use of the platform the Company collects and processes information relating to your activity and interactions, including:

• The content of service requests and inquiries (including request details, service location/area, and requested dates and time windows).
• The content of chat conversations and messages between customers and service providers and between you and the service and bot, including text, attachments, images and media.
• Timestamps, message status (sent/delivered/read), request status, and actions performed on the platform.
• Interaction and activity metadata, including presence/activity indications and “last seen” (see the dedicated section below).
• Device and app information: device/app identifiers, push notification tokens, device type and operating system.

Unlike personal information, “statistical information” is non-identifying data that cannot lead to your identification. It may include your usage habits on the platform, pages visited, providers viewed or contacted, general geographic location, IP address and the like. Statistical information is stored separately from personal information and used differently, as detailed below.

The dontsearch platform is an interaction space between customers and service providers. To enable efficient and transparent communication, certain activity, presence and message-status information is shown to the parties in a conversation, including:

1. Last seen / online presence: the counterparty may be shown activity/presence indications (such as “online”) and the time you were last active (“last seen”).
2. Delivery status: whether a message was delivered to the counterparty's device may be shown.
3. Read status: whether a message was read may be shown, and where the product displays it, also by whom it was read/viewed (“read/seen by”) and the time of viewing.
4. Timestamps: times of sending, delivery, reading and other actions in the conversation.

Please note: the conversation content, messages, attachments and interaction metadata are not private with respect to the parties participating in the conversation. The parties to a conversation (customer and service provider, as applicable) may see information and interaction metadata to the extent required to provide the service. The scope shown depends on the user's role and the interaction context. Where the platform offers settings to manage the visibility of these features, you may use them; limiting them may affect some service functionality.

The Company may collect and process location-related information at several different levels, as needed:

• Address / service area you provide: an address or service area you enter manually when creating a request, used to describe the service location and match relevant providers.
• Approximate general location: general geographic location derived from IP address and device data — not precise — used for statistics, security and general matching.
• Precise device location: collected only if you grant location permission on your device, and only when a specific feature actually uses it. This does not involve continuous location tracking.
• Provider service-area matching: information about providers' service areas is used to match requests with providers in the relevant area.

You can manage location permission via your device settings; limiting it may affect provider matching and some features.

Personal information you voluntarily provide, upon registration and when creating requests and ordering services, is stored in the Company's database (the “Database”). Please provide accurate and complete details. You are not obligated to provide personal information, but without it the Company cannot fully provide the services. You may update your details if they change.

The statistical information collected by the Company contains only what is necessary to provide and improve the services, used subject to this policy and in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981.

1. The Company will use the personal information you provided and/or the statistical information collected to provide the platform services, including matching customers with providers and reflecting your preferences based on analysis of usage habits.
2. The Company will use your personal information to contact you when necessary, to send operational service messages, and — subject to your consent and the law — to send marketing communications by email, SMS or WhatsApp, in accordance with Section 30A of the Communications Law (Telecommunications and Broadcasting), 5742-1982. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by removing yourself from the mailing list, including by request to support@dontsearch.com.
3. The Company will use statistical information for its internal purposes, including operating, developing and improving the platform, and may use third parties to collect and analyze anonymous statistical information without identifying you personally.
4. The Company will use the information for any other purpose related to providing the services, including any purpose set out in this policy and/or the Terms.

1. The platform matches customers with service providers. To handle a request and enable contact between the parties, the Company may disclose to the relevant provider(s) information required to handle the inquiry, including contact details, the request and its content, service location/area, dates and time windows, and the content of conversations and files/images you attached to the inquiry. Disclosure of full contact details may be conditioned on the service conditions being met.
2. If you expressly requested (in writing) to restrict the transfer of personal information to third parties, the Company will act accordingly, except for transfers required to provide the service, and transfers required by law or to protect the Company's rights.
3. The Company may transfer statistical information, with or without consideration, to third parties with which it has business relations, including companies engaged in anonymous statistical analysis, to improve the services, at its sole discretion.

To operate the platform, the Company uses service providers and third parties (“sub-processors”) that process information on its behalf and under its instructions, subject to confidentiality and security obligations. Main categories:

• Hosting, storage and cloud infrastructure, and backup.
• Analytics and interaction logging: the Company may use, from time to time and where implemented in the platform, tools for usage analytics, monitoring, debugging, security, and improvement of the service and user experience. Where enabled, such tools may collect information about usage interactions, on-screen behavior, technical data and events, and may include logging and visual replay of use (session replay). If such tools are used, masking/filters may be applied to reduce collection of sensitive fields, but this is not a commitment to perfect masking or full anonymization.
• Push notification services and message delivery via SMS, WhatsApp and email.
• Support and customer-service tools.
• Information security, fraud prevention and anomaly detection services.

Processing by third-party AI providers is governed by the dedicated section below.

1. Use of AI: the Company uses AI technologies to process requests, improve the dontsearch bot's responses, personalize the services and provide a more accurate and convenient user experience.
2. Scope of processing: to provide and improve the service, AI systems may process prompts, messages, attachments, request details, metadata and outputs, to the extent required to operate the service.
3. Third-party providers and infrastructure: to operate the AI systems and infrastructure, the Company also uses third-party services (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Meta and others) and infrastructure providers. Certain information you enter may be sent to these services as part of processing. Such processing is subject to applicable law and those providers' terms/policies, where applicable.
4. Limitations: by using the platform you acknowledge that some information you enter may be processed by AI systems, including third-party systems. The Company makes reasonable efforts to minimize and protect the information, but cannot guarantee that third-party systems are error-free or fully under its control, and does not represent that all information processed by AI is stored or processed anonymously.

Some of the Company's sub-processors and providers (including hosting, analytics, messaging and AI providers) may store or process information outside the State of Israel. By using the platform, you acknowledge that information may be transferred to, stored and processed in countries where data-protection laws may differ from those in Israel. The Company makes reasonable efforts to ensure such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable law and subject to customary safeguards.

The Company retains personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services, manage your account, comply with legal obligations (including accounting and tax requirements), resolve disputes and enforce its rights. Retention periods vary by data type and processing purpose. When no longer needed or upon your request, the Company will delete or de-identify the information, subject to exceptions required by law or for fraud prevention and protection of rights. Information may be retained in backup copies for a limited period before final deletion.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets or operations, or any other change in control or structure of the Company, personal information may be included in the assets transferred to the relevant third party, provided that such party is subject to privacy obligations substantially consistent with this policy.

The Company may disclose personal information as required by law, court order or the demand of a competent authority, and where such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce the terms of use and this policy; protect the rights, property or safety of the Company, its users or the public; or detect, prevent or address fraud, security breaches or technical issues.

The Company's applications may request device permissions to provide certain functionality. Permissions are requested in context and can be managed via your device settings. Possible permissions include:

• Camera and photos/media — to capture and attach images and files to inquiries and requests.
• Location — to match relevant service areas and providers (where enabled).
• Microphone — where used for certain features.
• Notifications — to send service alerts and updates.

Limiting a permission may affect the availability of some features.

The Company communicates with you across multiple channels: push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, email and in-platform messages.

• Operational service messages — messages relating to your activity and the service (such as request status, matches, inquiries, account security and system alerts). These are an integral part of the service and are not marketing; they may not be opt-out-able while you use the service.
• Marketing communications — messages of a marketing nature, sent subject to your consent and the law. You may withdraw consent and unsubscribe from marketing at any time, including via the link/instructions at the bottom of the message or by contacting us.

Service providers who receive customers' personal information through the platform undertake to use the information solely for the following purposes: handling the request and responding to the inquiry; contacting the customer; providing quotes; performing the requested service; handling support and disputes; and complying with legal obligations. Providers undertake to keep the information confidential and secure, not to transfer it to a third party other than for providing the service, and not to use it for marketing unrelated to the inquiry or to sell it to a third party, unless a separate lawful basis or the customer's separate consent exists. The foregoing does not impose liability on the Company for a provider's use of the information in breach of its obligations and the law.

Subject to applicable law, you are entitled to:

• review the personal information about you stored in the Company's Database;
• request to correct or update inaccurate or outdated information;
• request to delete the personal information about you;
• opt out of marketing communications at any time.

To exercise your rights or submit a privacy request, contact the Company at support@dontsearch.com. Please note that deleting information may prevent the Company from providing you the services, in whole or in part.

The Company may use “cookies” (small text files stored on your device), as well as tracking technologies, software development kits (SDKs), pixels and mobile identifiers (such as advertising identifiers, IDFA/AAID), for the proper operation of the platform, to collect usage-habit data, identify traffic patterns, verify details, personalize, analyze and secure information. A cookie may include a user identifier the platform uses to recognize you.

You can manage cookies via your browser settings and advertising identifiers via your operating-system settings. Blocking cookies or identifiers may impair the availability of some services and your preference data.

The platform may contain links to other websites (“third-party sites”). These are independent and the Company assumes no responsibility for their content and services. Use of them is subject to each site's terms of use and privacy policy.

The Company may allow third parties to advertise on the platform. Such advertisements may be served from the advertisers' own systems, and advertisers may store their own cookies on your device. Clicking and viewing advertisements are subject to the advertisers' privacy policies and not to this policy.

The Company implements up-to-date information-security systems and procedures, including customary technical and organizational security measures. These reduce the risk of unauthorized access but do not provide absolute security. Accordingly, the Company does not warrant that its services are entirely immune to intrusion or unauthorized access. You should keep your username and password confidential and avoid disclosing them to others.

The Company may change this policy at any time, at its discretion. In the event of material changes concerning the use of information, notice will be published on the Company's website www.dontsearch.com. Your continued use of the platform and services indicates your consent to the new policy.

By using the platform, you express your consent to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Continued use after changes are published will be deemed acceptance of those changes.
